8 Things

8 TV Shows I Love to Watch
1. Extreme Makeover Home Edition-It makes me feel like this world still has good people in it and it's very uplifting, we watch it every sunday and I cry
2. Life-Colton and I's other favorite-we can't ever watch anything faithfully with our schedules and can't plan our lives around a show so we catch up by watching them on the computer in bed
3. Biggest Looser-also super uplifting to me to see people change their life's, haven't got to watch it this season though
4. American Idol-also haven't got to watch last season
5. Any cop/detective show-csi, law n order, but these we watch on the rare occasion we turn on the tv not planning to watch anything specific
6. Any of the holiday classics-claymations, charlie brown, hallmark movies
7.

8 Things That Happened Yesterday
1. Took a test from the most anal teacher I've ever had or heard of, his reputation preceeds him
2. Went to institute from my favorite institute teacher, I'm taking Teachings of the Prophet Joseph Smith
3. Cleaned/Stressed about the house as usual right before anyone comes over
4. Track Practice-for 5 hours!-jump drills, half jumps, full jumps, 120's, weight maxing, and my normal weights...oy!
5. Cleaned/stressed about the house...again! (actually did this about 4 different times today!)
6. Made worms and dirt (brought me back to kindergarden!!!) for our FHE group every Monday, there's five couples and we rotate houses, it was at our house this week, thus the cleaning/stressing cycle
7. Had FHE with our friends, one of the most rewarding activities of my week, we look forward to it so much
8. Amanda was having serious contractions this time! Hopefully the baby doesn't come this soon but I'm still soooooo excited. Holly and I made her promise to call even in the middle of the night if she went into labor!!

8 Favorite Places to Eat.
1. Texas Roadhouse-"Voted best tasting steak house for the price you pay" by Colton and Shay, probably are #1 favorite we can go to regularly
2. Costa Vida-hands down over Cafe Rio, ranch isn't too spicy and they have the sweet pork instead of just the pork,
3. Rodizio's
4. Famous Dave's-so good just for BBQ type food
5. Applebee's-we love getting an appetizer and a meal and sharing, and then getting the blonde-always the blonde for desert, and they have tv's that actually let colton watch the U football games
6. Melting Pot-romantic significance for us but so stinking expensive
7. Wendy's-really now, does anyone else even compare to their dollar menu? Healthy options with delicious greasy ones too, fav's are the infamous JBC, side caesar salad, chili, brocoli n cheese potato, frosty's...really...about everything! When we want to go out to eat n have no money, we use our trusty change jar and eat for about 4 bucks in quarters, nickles, and dimes.
8. The Pie-for pizza
*Obviously we don't experiment with types of Cuisine much-we stick to steak, bbq, american, etc.

8 Things I'm Looking Forward To
1. Thanksgiving at home (our home)
2. My family coming down for Thanksgiving
3. Amanda and Jed's baby girl!!!
4. Reffing to start...I have my first High School Varsity Games
5. Getting our carpet cleaned, it's so gross from whoever lived here before us
6. Going to the twilight movie, Everyone else has gone already but I'm waiting to go with my mom over Thanksgiving
7. Graduating and starting a new masters and being a Graduate Assistant and having my tuition, books, fees, and housing paid for!
8. Decorating for Christmas-with a real tree of course!
9. Another cruise, maybe we can go with my sister inlaw someday ;)
10. Warm weather, I know... it hasn't even gotten super cold yet!
(yes I cheated, there are ten)

8 Things I am grateful for (I added this list on my own)
1. My friendship with my husband, if he was all I saw over the holidays my heart would still be content
2. Our apartment we are so undeserving of, it blows my mind every day I look around it
3. Reffing-that I have found something I love so much and want to continually grow at
4. My major-for giving me something I'm passionate to learn about
5. My parents-I have learned more from them than anyone else, except Christ of course
6. My husbands family-when I see others who don't have great inlaws, I feel so fortunate!
7. My grandparents-I pray every day God will grant me more time with them, they are so fun to spend time with and I learn tons from them, but that will come to end sooner than I want I fear
8. Christ-duh right!? But he has made something significant out of my life that was so insignificant. It's like this masterpiece that is created from scraps, leftovers, unwanted pieces, broken glass...yet, it's more beautiful than anything i've ever seen! The atonement is the the world's biggest and greatest miracle
